Hello, I'm Jillian
I've never been at a loss for words. My love for storytelling is a common thread through my education in broadcast news, my experience in food and living print journalism, my time in podcasting and my passion for cooking and lifestyle content creation.

I graduated from LSU in May 2024 with a degree in mass communication with a concentration in broadcast journalism and a minor in creative writing. Outside of the classroom, I worked at Tiger TV for three years in a range of positions — from News Director and Operations Manager to Podcast Producer. I've written for Baton Rouge's top publications, including The Advocate and 225 Magazine, where I was an editorial intern and photographer. During my senior year, I filmed, hosted and produced a series following Louisiana's ranchers and farmers called Made in Louisiana for my honors thesis project.

I am currently pursuing a certificate of culinary arts at the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan, which I'll apply to my career in food and lifestyle media.
